The Ocean City 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb is the Fifth Annual Stair Climb that will be hosted in Ocean City, MD. and is an event used to honor the 343 Firefighters that lost their lives on September 11th, 2001 as well as raise funds for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. This is done by climbing the equivalent of the same number of stories of the World Trade Towers, 110 stories, as well as having each individual fallen Firefighter honored by a climber in the event. The climb is not intended to be a race, it is a way to help raise funds for a great organization with a donation of $30 per climber.
The 2017 event will be held on Saturday the 28th of October at the Pyramid Condominium at 9500 Coastal Highway and is a public event open to anyone; including Civilians, EMS, Firemen, Law Enforcement and the Military. Those who are willing to wear their turnout gear/ Utility Uniforms (EMS, Law Enforcement, Military) are encouraged to do so during the climb.
